Aside from being known as the home of the sweetest pineapple, Bukidnon also gained the title having the longest dual zipline in Asia with a length of 840 meters and elevation of 4500 feet above sea level.
It was already past 10 in the morning when I arrived in Cagayan de Oro from Camiguin. It was raining back then so I decided to just stay in my room and moved my trip to Dahilayan Adventure Park.
I reserved my second day in Camiguin climbing Mt. Hibok-Hibok. I guess I became addicted to mountain climbing after trekking Mt. Pundaquit in Zambales about a month prior to date. The feeling is just so indescribable when you reached the summit and the view from the top is the best reward.
At the night of October 04, Kuya Ronald texted me if I would still pursue my climb because it was raining cats and dogs at that night. I replied to him and asked if it would be safe to climb despite the heavy rains, he said that it is climbable but its up to me. So I told him that if the rain would not stop until the morning, I will cancel the climb.
Mindanao is rich with so many fascinating things that only tourist who dare to explore this part of the Philippines could appreciate or witness. On the eastern side of Mindanao specifically in Talisay, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur lies this mystical river called Enchanted River. Its name alone ignite tourist's curiosity of checking out and exploring why this river is called as such.
Camiguin Island would always be one of my favorite Philippine province. I have spent 2 full days in the island but it was not enough to explore its wonders. I just love the laid-back tropical atmosphere that would let you experience total solitude, away from the crowd and worries. But before you get to experience all these, you have to figure out how to get there first.
It is safe to say that the White Island in Camiguin is one of the most beautiful beach in the country. The beauty of this sandbar which changes in shape depending on the tide is enhanced by Mt. Hibok-Hibok as its backdrop.
