Aloguinsan is now synonymous to Bojo River Cruise, which attracts most tourist going to this small town, southwest of Cebu. However, not known to many Aloguinsan also has a beach that is definitely worth the visit. As its name suggest, Hidden Beach, Aloguinsan is secluded where one need to passed by almost a kilometer rough, grassy and bumpy road with no indication that there is a beach nearby, but there is a small signage labeled "Hidden Beach Resort" so be mindful of noticing it because the road is really tricky. The beach sand is mocha-colored and it extends for about a kilometer with coconut trees adorning the beach area. This is the perfect beach to tourists/travelers who does not want crowd and experienced total solitude.
1. From CITILINK, take a vhire that is bound for Pinamungajan and alight at Pinamungajan proper. Fare should be PHP120. Habal-habal (PHP30) is the most convenient and cheapest way of reaching Hidden Beach. Other option is to take a vhire bound for Toledo and get off at Toledo Proper/Market/Port, then ride a jeep going to Aloguinsan.
2. Entrance fee is PHP10. Tables and chairs can be rented for PHP150 (day use). There are also huts (PHP500) available if you would want to have an overnight stay.
3. Foods. I suggest you to bring your own food supplies since there is no restaurant or food stalls in the area. However, the resort could offer cooking services for a minimal fee.
4. For bookings and reservations contact Ate Baby at 09225577390.
